From immediately after the procedure, sweat production begins to decrease, leaving you with a dry, refreshed feeling. Sweat reduction continues gradually over the course of about one month.

• What are the precautions before the treatment?

  1. Please refrain from using antiperspirants (e.g., deodorants, etc.) for 2-3 days before your procedure. 2. If you have any skin conditions (such as folliculitis, warts, etc.) in the area to be treated, please ensure these are resolved before undergoing the procedure. 3. Please shave both underarms 4-6 days before your procedure. It is better if there is slight hair growth, as this helps the doctor to more accurately identify the treatment area.

• Will there be scarring after the procedure?

  The MiraDry Fresh procedure is non-incisional and minimizes skin damage by delivering cooling energy, so it does not cause scarring.

• How satisfied are patients after the treatment?

  Studies have shown an average of 82% reduction in sweat glands and a patient satisfaction rate of over 90% following the procedure.

• Can results be seen with just one treatment?

  In most cases, satisfactory results can be achieved with a single treatment. However, a second treatment may be necessary if sweat and odor are severe or if you have high expectations for the outcome. Patient satisfaction is typically even higher when a second treatment is completed.

• If I haven’t shaved my underarms, is same-day treatment still possible?

  We recommend shaving 4-6 days before the procedure to allow sufficient recovery time in case of any cuts from shaving. However, if you have not shaved, the clinic staff can carefully shave the area for you, taking precautions to avoid skin injury, after which the procedure can be performed on the same day.

• Is the procedure not possible if I have had other underarm surgeries?

  Even if you have previously undergone surgery for hyperhidrosis, bromhidrosis, or breast surgery, the MiraDry Fresh procedure may still be possible. However, in such cases, the doctor will first assess your skin condition before determining your eligibility for the treatment.

• After the procedure, you may experience swelling, a throbbing stinging sensation, or temporary numbness in or around the underarm area. These are normal and typically subside on their own, so there's no need for major concern.
• To prevent infection, apply antibiotic ointment and take prescribed antibiotics for at least 3 days following the treatment.
• Avoid exposing your underarms to swimming pools, saunas, or the beach to reduce the risk of infection.
• Refrain from strenuous activities, intense exercise, or overexertion for one week after the procedure, as these can slow the healing process.
• Use a gentle liquid soap to cleanse the treated area twice daily—morning and evening.
