BLS clinic (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Institute’) values the customers’ personal information and complies with laws and regulations in accordance with ‘Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection’. With this Privacy Policy the Institute hereby informs customers of the purpose and use of personal information they provided, and the measures taken for the protection of their personal information. In the case of modification of Privacy Policy, the Institute will announce through website announcement (or individual notification) This Privacy Policy will take effect as of October 4, 2021.

For the fulfillment of the contract related to the provision of services and to charge fees due to the provision of paid services, for contents provision, for payment for purchases and charges, for delivery of goods or billing statements, for user verification for financial transactions and financial services, for membership management, for user verification for membership service use, for personal identification, for prevention of rogue users' fraudulent and unauthorized use, for member registration confirmation, age verification, for handling complaints and grievances, for delivering notices, for marketing and advertisement, for delivering advertisement information like events, for identification of access frequency or statistical understanding of the users' service use.
Period of Retention and Use of Personal Information
In principle, the Institute destroys the personal information without delay once the purpose of its collections and use has been attained. However, if it is deemed necessary in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, the Institute retains the user information for a period of time specified in the relevant laws and regulations as stated below :

Procedures and Methods of Destruction of Personal Information
In principle, the Institute destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of collection and use of personal information is attained. The destruction procedure and methods of personal information are as follows:
Destruction Procedure
The information that customers provide for sign-up is moved to a separate database (a separate file box for papers) after the information is used for the intended purpose, stored for certain period of time for reasons of information protection under internal policy and relevant legislation and destroyed. The information transferred to a separate database is not used for any other purpose than being retained unless required by law.
Destruction Method
The Institute deletes personal information stored in the form of an electric file by using technological methods that prevent any recovery of the record.
Disclosure of Personal Information
In principle, the Institute does not disclose the users' personal information to any external party except for the following cases:
Where the users' prior consent is given and where require by laws and regulations or investigation agency requests of such information in accordance with procedures and means prescribed by legislations for investigative purposes.
Rights and Exercise of Rights of Users and Legal Representative
User can access or edit his/ her registered personal information or request for registration cancellation any time.
To view or edit users' personal information, click on ‘Edit Personal Information’(or ‘Edit Member Information’ and etc.) and to cancel subscription, (withdraw consent) click on’Cancel Membership’. Upon clicking, you will be directed to an identification process before you can directly access, correct, or cancel membership.
User may also contact personal information protection manager via letter, telephone or e-mail and necessary action will be taken without delay.
Should a user request corrections on errors of personal information, the Institute shall not use or provide any personal information until a correction is made.
In addition, if inaccurate personal information has already been provided to the third party, the result of the correction shall be notified to the third party immediately so that correction is made.
The Institute handles personal information that is terminated or deleted by the request of users specified in the “Period of retention and utilization of Personal Information” and shall not shall not view or use for any other purposes.

The Institute uses ‘cookies’ that constantly saves and finds users' information. Cookies is a small piece of text file that the server, used in operating the Institutes’s website transmits to users' browser, and is saved in the hard disk of users' computer.

Under the responsibility of the Operator, the Institute’s data is saved in the Operator’s server.
